What we collect

When you create an account, apply to a programme, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, institution, and any messages or content you submit through the platform (tasks, reflections, forum contributions, and similar).

How we use it

  • To run the programmes and services you sign up for, including mentor matching and course access
  • To send you updates, opportunities and communications you've asked for or that relate to your involvement with STUF
  • To review submissions (tasks, reflections, contributions) as part of our normal moderation process
  • To keep the platform secure and prevent abuse

Who can see your information

Your mentor (if you have one) can see information relevant to your mentorship. Our team can see account and submission information for moderation and support purposes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us directly.

Data security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including secure password storage and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

This page reflects our current data practices in plain language. A full, formal privacy policy, reviewed by a qualified legal adviser and covering matters such as data retention periods, international transfers and your specific legal rights under applicable law, is being finalised and will replace this page once complete.
