A fully funded scholarship for African students to pursue postgraduate study at the University of Oxford, delivered through the Africa Oxford Initiative. Deadline: 6 January 2027.

Eligibility

  • African citizen, ordinarily resident in Africa
  • Strong academic record meeting Oxford's postgraduate admission standards
  • Applying for, or holding an offer for, a postgraduate course at Oxford
  • Commitment to Africa's development

Who is not eligible: applicants who have not applied for a postgraduate course at Oxford, since the scholarship works alongside your Oxford application.

  • Academic transcripts and references
  • A personal statement on leadership and impact goals
