African Fashion FundLab Fellowship 2026
Eligibility
- Own a registered fashion business
- Have operated the business for at least three years
- Able to attend the physical fellowship in Lagos
Who is not eligible: applicants outside Nigeria, and those without an existing, registered fashion business of at least three years.
What you need to apply
- Details of your existing fashion business
- Completed application form
- Business registration or portfolio materials, if requested
Position yourself
If you do not yet have a fashion business running, this fellowship is a reason to start one, even small, rather than a reason to wait. It looks for genuine, if early, activity, not a polished business plan alone.
What to do if you are not eligible
This round has closed. If you are outside Nigeria, look for fashion entrepreneurship programmes with broader African eligibility. If your business is under three years old, keep building and watch for the next cycle.
Benefits
- Full sponsorship for the four-day physical fellowship
- Three months of virtual post-fellowship mentorship
- A funding roadmap and certificate of participation
How to apply
This cycle's application closed on 24 July 2026. When the next round opens, applicants should expect to visit the official Oak Nation Entrepreneurial Foundation page, confirm their business meets the three-year eligibility criteria, and submit their completed application before the new deadline.
Application tip
When the next cycle opens, show what you have already built, even if small, rather than only describing future plans.
